Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our automation team and contribute to various projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing programming efforts, tracking project-specific details, and ensuring the successful completion and delivery of robust systems to satisfied customers.
Responsibilities - Provide Process Control Engineering, including specification, engineering, configuration, and startup for projects implementing automation control systems for industrial clients, including OEMs, end users, and EPC firms across a range of industries.
- Read P&IDs and electrical drawings.
- Utilize Fluke volt meters and other measuring tools.
- Program online and upload/download running process control systems.
- Write technical documentation and project reports.
- Follow and perform work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications - Understanding of Industrial Automation and Control Systems, including PLC, DCS, and HMI across multiple platforms.
- Willingness to learn new platforms and technologies and be hands-on with equipment.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET).
- 2-5 years of experience in automation programming and hands-on experience with measuring tools, Fluke, and volt meters.
