May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.Analyzes incoming production order requirements and develops master manufacturing schedule for assigned site(s) to assure exceptional customer service and optimal manufacturing efficienciesAssists with monitoring of materials inventory to effectively determine production schedulesCommunicates upcoming scheduling conflicts with key stakeholders and recommends solutionsSupports forecasting of production labor overtime requirementsAnalyzes daily back-log business reports to monitor workload and capacity requirementsPrepares and reviews required business reportsSupports continuous improvement initiatives for production scheduling process and information flowEducation & ExperienceHigh school degree required, Associate's degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processesKnowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished productsAbility to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product componentsKnowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goodsKnowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycleKnowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facilityPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse settingTwo companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
