Job Description McElroy Engineering is an innovative architecture and engineering firm specializing in cutting-edge design and sustainable solutions. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Revit Drafter to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about precision, design, and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Create, modify, and update detailed 2D and 3D Revit models and drawings based on project specifications and requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and alignment of project designs. Maintain and manage Revit project files, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date. Develop and adhere to drafting standards, templates, and workflows. Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Assist in resolving design and documentation issues during the project lifecycle. Provide support for BIM-related tasks, including clash detection and coordination. Qualifications: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related drafting software. Strong understanding of architectural, structural, or MEP systems (depending on the focus of your projects) Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with additional design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp). Experience with sustainable design and LEED standards.
